Well, Judgment Day is upon us. Will it contain moments as mark-worthy than the last few minutes of the one last year? No way, Jose. However, I might bite for this one. Might is the operative word here. Maybe I'm not into the angles like I used to be, but I can't really go all-out for winners on most of these matches. Usually, I do pretty damn good but this time I'm not sure who to pick and choose. Probably should just go with the worst scenario cases, which will probably happen. Now off the rant: the unpredictibility might entice me to buy. Well, that and the fact I'm needing an excuse for a get-together. However, that whole "need to be somewhat drunk to enjoy" deal hangs over it. So this will probably be another "Well, it's 7:59, should we get it or not?" deal.

World Wrestling Federation Championship
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Undertaker

My Pick: Yes, I tease him terribly. And, yes, I do get antsy with him in the ring. However, I will go with Taker on this one.

Will Win: Austin

WINNER: AUSTIN (just fucked up, fucked up ending)

Intercontinental Championship Chain Match
Triple H vs. Kane

My Pick: Kane all the way. He needs a big push (and deserves it). And since they're so damn determined to have this (Brothers Grim v. HHH/Austin) as the angle of every show a win from Kaney will liven it up.

Will Win: Same.

WINNER: KANE

Medals Match

2 out of 3 falls
1st fall -- pinfalls only
2nd fall -- submissions only
3rd fall (if necessary) -- Ladder Match
Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit

My Pick: Benoit just because I like Benoit a bit more now. And, dammit, this match should be worth the price of admission, given they actually devote the time to it.

Will Win: Kurt, to put an end to this.

WINNER: KURT ANGLE

Women's Championship
Chyna vs. Lita

*violent wretching* This is reason numero uno for not buying the PPV. Just pray it's short and somewhat painless

My Pick: Lita because she's less of a bitch. Not basing this on non-existent wrestling skills, folks.

Will Win: Chyna and the world weeps. For some reason, I'm thinking she and Eddy will be reunited. C'mon, someone shit in her gym bag already so that she quits.

WINNER: CHYNA

note: The damn match wasn't that bad- actually watchable.

William Regal vs. Rikishi

My Pick: The Commish.

Will Win: Rikishi, to give Steve the Stinkface.

WINNER: REGAL

Hardcore Championship:

Test vs. Big Show vs. Rhino

My Pick: Well, out of these 3, going with Test.

Will Win: Same.

WINNER: RHINO

Tag Team somethingorother

APA v. Dudleys v. X-Pukers v. Edge/Christian v. Hardys v. Saturn/Malenko v. Jericho/mystery man (please be Tajiri, please be Tajiri...), and probably a bunch of other guys

My Pick: Oh, why must thou book a match involving my boys, the APA and Dudleys? I have to choose and I'll go with the APA.

Will Win: Well, let's dissect this, shall we? Radicalz ain't over enough. I think Bubba's injured, so I'm not counting on the Dudleys. And X-Pukers as no. 1 contenders? BWAHAHAHAHA!! Edge/Christian need something more because their run after run after run is boring as hell. And I'm not a big fan of the Hardys. And CJ and mystery man ain't cutting it for me. So, I say the APA, since they seem to be getting a miniscule push here.

WINNER: THE CHRISES

Now, for the tally:

My Picks Correct: ( 2/7) = 16%

Will Wins Correct: ( 4/7) = 57%

Overall PPV Thoughts: Bought it and it's a solid thumbs-in-the-middle. The ending was fucked up and predictable, along with reeking of a regular wrestling show instead of a PPV. The Chyna/ Lita match was suprisingly decent. The Benoit/Angle match was pretty good, but the screwjob ending was ridiculous. However, it was good to see Kane get a rub from Hunter. As for the rest, I didn't watch too much of it.
